seyiHQ Limited is a software studio registered in England and Wales, company number 17293610. We are registered with the Information Commissioner's Office, registration reference ZC180960.

What this policy covers

This policy covers seyihq.com only.

Our products each have their own privacy policy on their own website, because each one handles data differently. If you use Formavo, Banded, Realivo or any of our other products, the policy on that product's site applies to you, not this one.

When you visit this website

We do not use cookies for tracking, and we do not run analytics on this site.

Our website is hosted by a third party hosting provider. Like any web host, their servers automatically record technical information when a page is requested, including your IP address, browser type and the page you visited. This happens for every website on the internet and is needed to deliver the page and keep the service secure. We do not use this information to identify you or build a profile of you.

When you email us

If you email us, we keep your message and your email address so we can reply and keep a record of the conversation. Our email is provided by a third party email provider. We do not add you to any marketing list.

When you apply for a role

When you apply for a role at seyiHQ, we collect the information you give us in the application form. That is your name, email address, phone number, the role you applied for, your CV, and what you tell us about your experience.

We use it only to assess your application and to contact you about it. We process it on the basis of our legitimate interest in considering candidates for roles at the studio, and to take steps at your request before entering into a contract of employment.

Your application reaches us through a third party form delivery service and is then stored in our email system. We do not share your details with anyone outside seyiHQ, and we never use them for marketing.

We keep applications for six months from the date you apply, then delete them. If you join us, your details move into your employment record and are kept under our employee data policy instead.

How long we keep information

Job applications, six months, unless you join us.

Emails, for as long as we need them to deal with your enquiry and keep a reasonable business record, and no longer than necessary.

Who we share information with

We do not sell your information, and we do not share it for marketing.

We use a small number of third party service providers who process information on our behalf, including our website host, our email provider and the service that delivers our form submissions. They only handle your information to provide their service to us.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, to have it corrected if it is wrong, to have it deleted, to object to us using it, and to ask us to restrict how we use it.

Complaints

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, please tell us first and we will try to put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk, or by calling 0303 123 1113.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page.
